A special panel event is organised by the Hellenic Bankers Association (HBA-UK) in collaboration with the Alumni Relations team of Warwick Business School on the future trends and challenges in investment banking and private equity. The panel consists of senior professionals from leading financial institutions, such as JP Morgan, BAML, BC Partners, Natwest Markets and Fitch Solutions.

  • Marina Petroleka, Global Head of Industry Research, Fitch Solutions
  • Ben Thompson, Managing Director, Leveraged Finance, JP Morgan; Ben joined JPMorgan’s London-based High Yield & Leveraged Loan Capital Markets team in 2011 as a Managing Director. He was a member of JPMorgan’s New York-based Syndicated & Leveraged Finance (SLF) team for the previous 16 years, serving most recently as a Managing Director and member of the firm’s Primary Loan Sales Desk and SLF Capital Markets team. Ben started his career in JPMorgan’s Telecom Media and Technology Investment Banking Coverage group. He has been with the firm for over twenty-four years.

Ben served as JPMorgan’s North American Investment Banking B.A. Recruiting Champion, headed the Williams College recruiting team and served as Co-Head of the MBA Summer Intern Program and as a member of JPMorgan’s Analyst and Associate Development Council. He is currently captain of the Warwick University recruiting team. Ben holds a B.A. from Williams College.
